Cross-sector desk
Security Today
The main security events in Kazakhstan, Central Asia and the world — with an explanation of why they matter to the reader.
The desk answers the question «what happened» — but never stops there. To every event the newsroom adds the answer to «so what now»: who is at risk, which signals came first, what a company should do and what a person should do.
The geography is set explicitly: Kazakhstan, Central Asia, the CIS, the world. International events enter the feed when the scheme or technology is already used in the region or is certain to reach it.
Important
We do not publish unverified messenger reports and we do not retell rumours. If a fact is not confirmed, the newsroom either waits for confirmation or states the verification status explicitly.
